Directions

From the corner of Kaiser & Springville Road:

The back way (shortest & fastest, but not the easiest)
Get to Hwy 26 and go west
Take Glencoe exit, head south
Turn right onto Zion Church Road (sign says "to Forest Grove")
Follow the road to a turnabout, go west onto Verboort
At next turnabout, go toward Forest Grove on Martin Ave
Martin ends at Quince (same as Hwy 47), turn left
Take Hwy 47 south all the way to Carlton
In Carlton, turn right onto Martin Ferry Road (47 goes left)
Follow road west.
The turnoff to Bald Mountain Road is on left, 17.2 miles west of Hwy 47.  Note that the turnoff is unmarked; note also that Bald Mountain Road is paved.
Follow Bald Mountain Road approx 9 miles; Camp entrance is on the right, and there is also a road to the left.  The camp entrance in unmarked except for an incredibly small sign on the wrong side of the road.
Follow the road into camp -- take a left at both forks.

Background Troop 245 attended Cooper as summer camp in 2005.
We always try to stay in the Foxfire site.
Troop 245 has attended Cooper for summer camp many times in its history.
2005 is the last year Cooper operated as a summer camp.
